Umeed-e-Noor: a school for children with special needs
Setting up and equipping classrooms so children with special needs have a place to learn, play and be cared for.
Rs 2,000,000 raised to fund the school

Umeed-e-Noor — “a ray of hope” — is a school dedicated to children with special needs. SFA supporters funded the work to prepare and equip its rooms: repainting, fitting out classrooms, and making the building ready to welcome students.
The first appeal for the school reached its goal of Rs 2,000,000. Our focus now is keeping the doors open — teaching staff, learning materials and day-to-day running costs — so that every child who comes through them is met with care and a real chance to learn.
Note for the SFA team: please confirm the school’s current status (how many children attend, where it is based, and whether it is open) so this page can be updated with live detail.
